How To Get To Guaymas/San Carlos
Getting here is quite easy. Fly into the international airport in nearby Guaymas (three-letter airport code is GYM, located approximately 10 miles from the rental home). Taxis are readily available to take you the rest of the way. As of this time, the only company that flies directly to Guaymas from the United States is Mesa Airlines, operated out of Phoenix by America West with modern jets and turboprops of recent manufacture. The next closest large airport is in Hermosillo, approximately 1 1/2 hours driving time.

If you prefer to drive from the United States, the highway is a modern 4 to 8 lane highway with several rest stops and many Pemex gas stations along the way. It's about a 5 hour drive from Tuscon, and a 7 hour drive from Phoenix. It's a very easy and scenic desert drive.
